Lake Victoria Mining Company, Inc. (LVCA) Exhibits at Las Vegas MONEYSHOW
Lake Victoria Mining Company participated in the recent Money Show held at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, NV from May 11-14. Over 7000 highly-qualified individual investors attended this world famous investment show to visit the more than 180 exhibitors and hear from close to 150 speakers at the more than 75 workshops. As well, some 2000 individuals watched the show at moneyshow.com.
In addition to exhibiting, Lake Victoria Mining arranged for Michele Ashby (Director), Heidi Kalenuik (Sec/Treas and Director) and Dr. Roger Newell (Pres. and Director) to present at the workshop entitle: “African Gold Rush - How Do You Stake Your Claim?” David Kalenuik, Chairman of Geo Can Resources Company Limited, moderated the program. Points discussed were the high gold reserves in Africa (40% of world’s total), the political and social stability of Tanzania, major gold producers activity in the country (i.e. Barrick has 4 active mines), and the company’s focus on gold production, in particular the Kinyambwiga Gold Project and the tremendous potential for greater gold production.
As part of a promptional campaign Lake Victoria Mining gave away a number of Garmin eTrex Legend H GPSs at daily draws from the exhibit booth. Numerous show attendees visited and shared in the excitment; many expressed great enthusiasm over Lake Victoria’s projects and future plans.
Company management agreed that it was a great success and look foward to participating in similar events in the future.
